AdBlue Delete and Removal: What to Expect From a Mobile Appointment

An AdBlue warning that keeps returning or a countdown on the dashboard leaves you wondering what happens next. A mobile AdBlue Delete appointment means we come to your car or van and change the engine computer’s software so it no longer runs or monitors the AdBlue system, clearing the related warnings and countdown. AdBlue Delete and AdBlue Removal are two names for this same software service. No parts are removed, replaced, repaired or cleaned, and suitability must be checked before quoting. To get started, send your registration, postcode and a photo of the warning by WhatsApp, call us, or use the quote form.
What warning are you seeing?
You might have an AdBlue warning that remains after refilling, a system fault message or a countdown warning about restarting. Tell us exactly what the dashboard says rather than trying to identify the faulty part yourself.
A clear photo gives us the warning details without guesswork. Also tell us whether your car or van currently starts and whether any other engine warnings are showing. Do not assume every dashboard message is connected to AdBlue.
What the software service does and does not cover
The work changes how the engine computer handles the AdBlue system. It stops that computer running or monitoring the system and clears the associated warnings and countdown. Despite the word “removal”, this is not a physical parts-removal service.
We do not replace tanks, fit sensors, repair pumps or clean components. The service also does not fix unrelated engine faults. If you have other symptoms, mention them when enquiring so the agreed scope is clear.
Not every vehicle is suitable. We check from the registration before quoting, rather than assuming that all cars or vans with the same badge need the same software work.
How the mobile appointment works
Once we have checked suitability and you have accepted the quote, we arrange a mobile visit. We can come to your home, workplace or another safe place in England, subject to availability.
The appointment is for the agreed AdBlue software work on your vehicle. You are not booking a replacement AdBlue system or a general engine repair. If you want another software service, discuss it before the visit so it can be assessed and quoted separately.
Our standard hours are Monday to Sunday, 8 AM to 8 PM. We also offer 24/7 emergency callouts, subject to location and availability. An additional emergency callout charge is confirmed before dispatch.
What to have ready before we arrive
Choose a safe place where the vehicle can be accessed and let us know about any parking restrictions, locked gates or workplace access arrangements. Have the keys available and confirm the vehicle’s exact location.
If the warning changes after booking, send an updated photo. Tell us if the vehicle stops starting or if another warning appears, rather than leaving that information until the appointment.
- Keep your registration and booking details handy.
- Make sure we know whether the vehicle starts.
- Agree access to the driveway, parking space or business yard.
Why choose Fix My AdBlue?
Operating Since 2012, Fix My AdBlue offers Experienced Technicians and a Nationwide Mobile Service Across England for cars and vans. You can read genuine Google reviews before deciding whether to book.
Our No Fix, No Fee promise is straightforward: “If we cannot complete the job, there is no charge.”
Our Lifetime Software Warranty applies to the software work on that vehicle. If the covered work develops a problem, we correct it again. Later software updates or recalls void the warranty. Callout charges, including emergency callout charges, are not covered.
Book your appointment in three steps
Start with the vehicle details and warning, not a guess at which service it needs. We will check suitability before providing a quote.
- 1. Send your registration, postcode and warning details, ideally with a dashboard photo, by WhatsApp. You can also call or use the quote form.
- 2. We check whether your vehicle is suitable and quote for the agreed software service.
- 3. Arrange a mobile appointment at your home, workplace or another safe location, subject to availability.
Customer FAQs
Will you physically remove the AdBlue tank?
No. AdBlue Removal is a software service, just like AdBlue Delete. We do not remove the tank or replace, fit, repair or clean parts.
Can I enquire if my car or van will not start?
Yes. Send the registration, location and a photo of the warning, and explain that it will not start. We must check suitability, and the software service does not fix unrelated starting faults.
Can you attend outside standard hours?
24/7 emergency callouts are available subject to location and availability. The additional emergency callout charge is confirmed before dispatch.
Are remaps or other software services included?
No. Economy Remap, Performance Remap, Stage 1 Remap, Stage 2 Remap, DPF Delete and EGR Delete are quoted separately, never free with AdBlue work. Stage 2 needs suitable supporting modifications. DPF Delete and EGR Delete are software only.
What happens if the vehicle gets a software update later?
Later software updates or recalls void the Lifetime Software Warranty. Tell us about any planned update or recall before arranging further software work.
Need Help With an AdBlue Warning?
Send your registration, postcode and a photo of the warning. We check suitability and confirm the price before anything is booked.
