Seeing an AdBlue warning light or a restart countdown countdown on your VW Transporter T6 dashboard? These complex systems can cause significant downtime for your van. We are mobile software specialists who can provide a solution at your home or workplace. Provide your registration and postcode for a quote.

01Common AdBlue warnings
This is the most critical warning, preventing the engine from restarting once the countdown hits zero. It can be triggered by an empty tank or any fault within the SCR system.
A generic but serious error message indicating the onboard computer has detected a problem somewhere in the system. This often requires specialist diagnostics to pinpoint the cause.
This warning can appear even if you have used the correct AdBlue fluid. It often points to a failing NOx sensor incorrectly analysing the exhaust gases or fluid.
The system may show a fault or incorrect fluid level, even after refilling the tank. This is commonly caused by a failure in the level sensor located inside the AdBlue tank.
Your T6 has NOx sensors to monitor nitrogen oxide levels. When one of these fails, it will trigger a dashboard warning and can lead to a no start countdown.
The system uses a pump to inject the fluid and a heater to prevent it from freezing. A failure in either of these components will cause a system fault and put the van into a restricted mode.
02Our service
Our process starts with a full diagnostic scan to confirm the source of the AdBlue fault. We then perform a software only AdBlue Delete by reprogramming the engine control unit (ECU), which deactivates the entire system. Please note, some newer Transporter models have protected ECUs that may require unlocking at an additional cost, which we confirm before starting any work. This is a mobile service performed at your location, whether at home, your business, or on site. We can also quote for optional extras like performance remaps or DPF software solutions, subject to vehicle suitability.

04Vehicle compatibility
Does my VW Transporter T6 have AdBlue? Not every diesel version of the T6 is fitted with an AdBlue system, as it depends on the specific engine, year and original emissions standard. For your Volkswagen Transporter T6, we check the registration, engine, build specification and ECU details rather than assuming fitment or service support from its age or badge. Because of the variations, it is essential that we check the vehicle's details. The only certain way to confirm compatibility is for us to check your registration. This page concerns the Transporter T6, not the T6.1, for which we do not currently offer this service.
Whether it's an AdBlue warning, a fault that keeps returning or a restart countdown, we can check your Volkswagen Transporter T6's compatibility and help you arrange the right service. Our mobile technicians come to your home or workplace.
Optional extras
While arranging your mobile AdBlue appointment, you can also ask about economy or performance remapping and our additional DPF and EGR software services for your Volkswagen Transporter T6. We'll confirm which options are available for your vehicle.
Customer questions
Still unsure? Send us your registration and a photo of the warning on WhatsApp.
Ask on WhatsAppThis is a classic sign that the issue is not with the fluid level but with a faulty component, such as a sensor, pump, or module. Our diagnostic check will identify the underlying fault before we propose a software solution.
Our AdBlue delete software reconfigures the engine management system to ignore messages from the AdBlue module. This prevents the countdown from appearing and controlling the vehicle's ability to start.
Some protected ECUs require specialist unlocking, but this depends on your Volkswagen Transporter T6's ECU hardware and software, not a blanket model-year rule. We check whether it is supported and confirm any extra unlocking cost before booking.
Not necessarily. Fitment varies significantly across the T6 range depending on the power output and year of manufacture. The only way to be certain is to provide us with your vehicle registration so we can check our systems.
SCR stands for Selective Catalytic Reduction, which is the technical name for the AdBlue system. NOx sensors are a key part of it. A fault with either will trigger a dashboard warning, which our software solution is designed to address.
Yes, absolutely. We work with many sole traders and fleet managers who rely on their vans daily. Our mobile service is designed to minimise downtime and get your vehicles back to work quickly.
The process, including diagnostics, typically takes between one to two hours to complete at your location. The exact time can vary depending on the specific ECU in your Transporter.
